This is a map of our vendor locations on Porter Park and Brooke Street Park. Note that it is subject to change and some of the vendors may only be starting on May 2.
Moss Street Market Moves!
In recent weeks, we have been operating at our traditional location on the Sir James Douglas school grounds and Moss Street and Thurlow Road boulevards. This has worked very well, but with farmer spring harvests increasing and more customers anticipated in the coming weeks, the space will be insufficient in size and layout to allow us proper physical distancing.
Therefore, we asked the City of Victoria to temporarily move the market to both Porter Park and Brooke Street Park. We have happily received their permission and we are moving the market to both parks starting this Saturday, April 18 (see map below).
Yes, We Are Open
The BC CDC includes farmers markets as an essential service and has stated that “Farmers’ markets are not currently considered a high risk setting for the transmission of COVID-19.” We will remain open as long as we are able, but with a number of limitations and measures in place for the security and well being of our vendors, staff, customers, families, and communities. See more on the measures we are taking here.
We are open every Saturday. April: 10am to 1pm. May, and on: 10am to 2pm.
We have also opened an online store, at localline.ca/moss-street-market, with delivery and pick up options available.
