When Kristin was new mother, she was sold on the idea of carrying her baby in a sling, but all the commercial baby carriers she tried weren’t quite right. Kristin sugested to her mom, Suzanne Young, that they design a better sling. They did! and they followed their entrepreneurial spirit into business.

Smitten

It all started as a love affair with linen. Rebecca’s cloth bags and stuffed animals proved so popular with friends that she decided to go into business. This is her first year at the Moss Street Market, and her stall pulls in customers with its simple charm and the hip art gracing lovely linen bags. Rebecca’s fun and quirky energy emanates from the stall.

Forward Thinking Foods

The colours draw you in, the labels tantalize you: peach cardamon, sour cherry and rhubarb, blueberry lavender, but its Jennifer’s friendly and warm personality that makes you want to stay and browse the wonderful selection of homemade preserves from Shawingan Lake. This is Jennifer’s 7th year making preserves commercially and her 5th year as a vendor at the Moss St Market.
