Moss St Market

The Moss Street Market couldn’t happen every week without the enthusiastic help of our volunteers. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with the following jobs:

Set up crew: from 8 to 10am every Saturday morning help staff carry our tents, tables, equipment and gear from our storage room to the market site, set up tents and tables, prepare the info table for the day, do some general site clean up and set up the coffee machines. (note: must be able to do some heavy lifting)

Tear down crew: 1:45 to 3:45pm (approx) help staff pack up and put away all of our tents, tables, equipment and gear after the market has closed. (note: must be able to do some heavy lifting)

Info/Coffee tent crew: help brew and serve coffee, answer questions and provide information to market patrons.

Green Team: monitor our recycle/waste station to make sure that waste, recycling and compost are going into the appropriate bins, educate market patrons about eco-friendly waste disposal.

Volunteers are rewarded with fresh market produce from our appreciative farmers, colourful volunteer badges to identify yourselves and our undying gratitude!

Hello Friends and Neighbours! The Moss Street Market is back in action, every Saturday from 10am to 2pm now until the end of October. We are located at the corner of Moss Street and Fairfield Road.

Moss Street Market is Victoria’s favourite public market for fresh local produce, homemade handicrafts, local food, music, kid’s activities and much more!

If you would like to become part of the Moss Street Market community we are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks both on Saturdays and in between market days. We also still have space for new vendors, so take a look at our vendor pages if you would like to sell your homemade, homegrown items at our market.
